“Brooklyn is serious about games”

The Made It in Brooklyn Play Jam & Showcase in April 2026 event brought together the inaugural NYU Tandon Game Design Future Lab (GDFL) cohort and NYU Game Center Incubator teams for a six-month milestone celebration, and the energy in the room at WC Art & IPRC on Jay Street said it all! Local gamers, creators, and designers from all over NYC gathered to learn, share, and connect with their community. It was less a pitch night, and more of a gathering of a rising supportive community who love what they make.

Munity Games showcased their current version of the arcade game featuring their new 2-Player Co-op and are in midst of a huge art overhaul.
